CS Chart Photogs Auction Off Rock Shots
Monday December 08, 2003 @ 05:30 PM
By: ChartAttack.com Staff

One of the most popular features here on ChartAttack.com has always been our Photo Of The Week. While we take pride in how kick-ass our POWs look onscreen, they do indeed look even better when printed out on fancy photographic paper. Now you, dear reader, will get a chance to own your very own copy of photos very much like the ones you see here on ChartAttack.com.

Two of our regular photographers, Richard Beland and Thom Hamilton, as well as Canadian rock photogs David Leyes and Todd Fraser will participate in a charity auction called Live! On December 18 in Toronto. Presented by the Pikto Gallery and Chart Magazine, the show will feature photographs of artists including The Tragically Hip, Coldplay, R.E.M., Sam Roberts, Bjork, Oasis, Avril Lavigne, The Rolling Stones, U2 and many, many more.

The photos, which have been kindly donated by each photographer, will be auctioned off with proceeds going to War Child Canada. War Child provides humanitarian assistance to children affected by war. Many musicians, including Our Lady Peace, Avril Lavigne and Chantal Kreviazuk have previously donated their time and talent to the cause.

Live! will take place on December 18 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Pikto Gallery, which is located in Torontos Distillery District.
