Flashpoint Maybe you always wanted to know how a stone song 'was born'
This is the idea of the thread...if you know something about any song post it here :P
I'm interested in know about Paint it black and All down the line...what did Mick or Keith said or think about these songs, the idea or what inspired Mick to write the lyrics and how Keith find the riffs (or viceversa)

glencar You need the "Jagger Remembers" edition of Rolling Stone.
12-07-03 04:39 PM
SHINE A LIGHT you also need steve appleford's book "the rolling stones, the story behind every song".
12-07-03 04:45 PM
glencar That's a crappy book. Go with Martin Elliott's book instead.

SHINE A LIGHT yes, agreed, but martin himself sent me a crappy/damaged copy. so, i sent it back and now i'm waiting for the pristine copy from amazon.
why do i need/want martin's "autograph"....for more money, too.
i'm going to start a thread about the sandford book????
