sandrew I haven't read the Uncut interview, but I hear Keith slagged Ryan Adams? What did he say?
12-09-02 10:51 AM
Nellcote He found it humorous that Adams chose "the Harder They come"
at the Willie tribute, but gave Adams a 10 for balls to do it.

F505 By the way I bought a boot of an Adams gig in Paradio with an excellent version of Brown Sugar (Ryan Adams live in Paradiso 2002)!

sandrew Oh, that's not so bad. I was under the impression that Keith hurled an insult Ryan's way.

quackenbush He bashed Led Zep pretty good, though.

KeepRigid Something tells me Keith isn't impressed by Ryan's Gram Parsons act.

After all, Keith didn't let him anywhere near Bridges to Babylon- despite the numerous 'meetings' they reportedly had while recording at the same studio back in 97. (True, Keith is very selective anyway, but I can just hear Keith's eyes rolling when this kid starts talking about being all 'Gram'd out in my flares'.)

Whatever talent the guy might have is overshadowed by his insistence on trying to emulate too many people who had their own thing.

sandrew What did he say about Zeppelin?
