Look at that white tent over the stage. You would think that is useful during bad weather, huh? Maybe the Stones should dig it up or make a new one if they insist on doing stadium shows.

Only one from '75 worth getting is the LA Forum show from 11th July, which is a pro-shot. Never seen it in pristine quality, but its pretty good quality and great to watch
From '76, there's the Paris TV broadcasts (taken from three shows), which also usually comes with an unedited pro shot of the 6th June show ("Aux Abattoirs")
Theres also about an hour of great raw BBC unbroadcast pro shot footage from Knebworth, which a friend of mine who worked there 'borrowed' from their archives a few years ago for long enough to run a few copies off the master. |

They really pushed the envelope this tour. Amazing stage design, Jagger totally 100% antithises of his circa 68-69 self, Keef right out of it, Taylor gone, and, the next year, fashions changing to the basics.
It's my fave tour and my fave pics. Of course, i never saw any shows (they didnt tour Oz for 22 years from 73-95) but i consider Jaggers look of this tour the total archetype of a rock star.
And, the set lists! Total orgasmic tunes!
P.S. The bum dance deserves a thread of its own! |

anyone have any 75/76 shows that I could do a DVD b&p trade for?
