Soldatti. I am by no means a "Bruce Nut" but you know I do not bad mouth him as a singer/song writer either. I always said he was really over-rated but that is by no means his personal doing. I never knocked him as an artist or person but either way he really isn't my bag 100%.
But I surely am curious. How is his latest? How is it compared to The Rising?
I thought an "ENTIRE" album based on 9/11 is idiotic for Bruce Springsteen to do.
But The Rising was a really good song, I wish he would of left 9/11 to that one song only.
The rest of the songs regardless of their basis or meaning on that album were real good as well even though I am no Bruce fanatic I appreciated it and the wsongs impressed me even though I found their reference stupid for him to be doing an entire "theme" album on that issue.
So how is this one?
Ian

Listening to sad Elton John songs at the moment, nursing a bit of the old heartbreak. Before that, it was Neil Young's Tonight's the Night, The Beatles' Revolver, and our very own Beggars Banquet. |
