Perhaps I can find some answers in here. I have this TYA song on my mp3 player. I don't remember where, when or how I got it and I can't seem to find any information on the track at all. The title is "highway of love" but the album name is unknown. The lyrics go like this:
I was running with the devil he was by my side
running with the devil what a hell of a ride
keep your motor running I'ma heading for you
better move on over, coming through
I was hot
I was burning up the rubber
I was hot
I was picking up my lover
I was hot
I was burning up the highway of love..
etc...
any info?

First time I heard the SHHHH album I was on acid, & at the beginning of "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl" it sounded like seagulls, I'll always remember this from the first time I heard it, it's like "Dark Side Of The Moon' I smoked grass so much when I first heard it, when I play it when I'm straight, I feel like I'm stoned.

Once there was a time....
I'd sell my mother.....
for a fast car and a smoke.....
but I'll never..sell my guitar.........
Honest it just came out of my mouth. I can't remember the cd or song title. Am I close. WOW Tingles here.
Wasn't it A Space In Time with the seagulls?

Yes it is from that album, but these are the lyrics
Once there was a time I'd rob my mama
For a good meal and a smoke
Once there was a time I'd sell my brother
For a dollar when I was broke
But I'd never sell my guitar
And my strings were always sharp
'Cause if I don't have a guitar
I'll be strumming on some angels harp
And if I don't get to heaven
And I go down there below
Better be a guitar when I get there
Or, I will refuse to go
Once there was a time I was hungry
And I'd find my food in some bin
But I'd never, never sell my guitar
'Cause that would, darling, that would be a sin
