cantturnyouloose What does Prince think of Jagger and what does Mick think of Prince - you think they would like each other as they are the best showman in music (though Mick is better), but than again egos and personality differences as well as different musical styles could cause them to be hostile.

What do you know?

egon Prince was the shit in the 80s.

how my friends and I danced to "you got the look",
trying to impress the girls.

Too bad he's dead.

That was the BEST guitar playing I have ever seen...I saw the original b'cast...and I am STILL amazed!!!

THANK YOU!!!

It is quite obvious that everyone (compared to previous years "all-star" jams) knew to keep their egos in check...for they knew they would pale in comparison to what was coming out at the half way point!!! Sheer unadulterated TALENT & GENIUS!!!

youre implying by that that Mick is..lol

That Jagger pic looks like its from the 'Say you will' promo shots from 1987. The Prince pic next to it looks like it may be from the early 90's, possibly the 'Sexy MF' era

TampabayStone I think he owns a club in the RIO that he is currently headlining, but he is supposed to have other acts in the future.

Give it time. If the Stones are going to continue as a live act after 2007, that may be what theyre going to do as well.

Stones Security Alright you sickos, knock it off.

Christ it is a good thing this site was reported to me yesterday.

The Stones just don't need you types of fans associated with them.

They have been working very hard to go "upscale" and shed that bad ass image that for some reason draws all you freaks and sickos out of the woodwork.

What the hell is wrong with you people?
Can't you try and be a bit more wholesome?

umm yeah whatever

my world and all I believed in is suddenly shattered and I am now overwhelmed with doubts about your claims for the last time they previously played "I'm Free"

Gazza LOL
I dont buy "Rolling Stone" or collect magazine covers, so thats MY excuse!

Plus its from the 80's - so its a decade whose music and fashion I usually try my best to forget. It wasnt a high point for the Stones in either category!

it was their first tour in 7 years. HUGE comeback. Something tells me you ran out to buy the mag the second it hit the shelves just like the rest of us

Honestly - no. Its actually not as readily available over here - although its easier to find now than it was in 1989. Plus we get it weeks later. In the pre-internet era, I wouldnt have even been aware that the Stones were on the cover, so wouldnt have been looking for it.

I did look to buy it when Dylan was on the cover a couple of months ago, but to no avail.
