moy Rolling Stones drummer wants chemotherapy
Washington | December 06, 2005 2:12:27 PM IST

Keith Richards, the guitarist for the rock band The Rolling Stones has revealed that he is seriously considering undergoing chemotherapy, whether he needs it or not.

Richards said that he had had thought about the treatment more often, after seeing how beneficial it had been to Brown Sugar drummer Charlie Watts, who underwent chemotherapy to fight throat cancer.

"When Charlie got back he said, 'I'll show you how we're really going to play (the new tracks).' I said to Charlie, 'If this is what chemo does for you, I'll take it, whether I need it or not,'" Ratethemusic quoted him, as saying.(ANI)

Honky Tonk Man Maybe it was a little insensitive, but it was obvious no offence was intended.

If ANYTHING, it came across as a declaration to how wonderful the treatment can be in regards to treating patients.

VoodooChileInWOnderl Probably is just a confusion, there's chemotheraphy to kill cancer cells, but there's also chemotheraphy to kill cancer pain like morphine, demerol and nuvain... probably Keith is talking about this chemo

On a side note and I'm laughing alone about it, chemo is also a short for glue or solvents used as a cheap drug here,

Didn't know Keith wants "that" chemo
