Miss U. From undercover:

http://www.canoe.ca/JamMusicCharts/BDS_1.html

The top played radio tracks in Canada compiled from a national sample of radio stations collected, compiled, and provided by BDS. For the period: 10/31/2001-11/06/2001.

AND GGME IN THE TOP 30 VIDEOS as compiled by MuchMoreMusic (#22):

Guess Canadians & Norwegians have good taste!!

AND in Norway:

By the way, before I bought GITD, I had listened to the 2 minute samples of all the songs, and was so-so about them. Anyone not buying Mick's CD is really missing out.
It's just as good as Wandering Spirit, but more experimental. Lots of mellotron/mellotron strings. Also interesting use of Indian Drum, flute etc. Love the arabian vibes. HIdeaway, Lucky Day, Dancing in The Starlight, and God Gave Me Everything are my faves. Hideaway could've been alot more hip-hop....I like the version they showed in Being Mick, with WJ rapping.
At first I didn't like GGME just listening to the sample, but now I really like it!!
I have a feeling the same contingent who refused to buy Mick's solo & criticize it as not "current" are the same people who would run out and buy a Keith solo of retro riffs at the drop of a hat without any previews.
Any Mick fan knows and loves the complexity of Mick Jagger...athlete, businessman, gentleman, aristocrat, dancer, witty naughty badboy etc.
I love MICK!

steel driving hammer Heard the song "Blue" from Goddess sessions? Prolly the best song yet also the most Stones sounding song. But I know this ain't no Stones record babe. I too love the Arab vibes you mentioned and 1 you didn't mention...The Arab howl durring the solo of GITD, just love it.
Got some emails today on the progress of the Jagger live boot from LA 01. Mostly just word of mouth but nothing set in Stone as a yes or no. Some noted it is in circulation though.
Goddess gets better the more I press play...an aquired taste...

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board.
The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
