thank you mojoman.....to top it all, I could not take my pain killers as when I was in the hospital they decided that they may have contributed to the problem and I had to detox from those as well(probably a good thing). The process involves taking suboxen which helps you gradually reduce you dependence on the other opiate(s) you are taking. In my case, oxycodone for back pain...it was a real nightmare but I am feeling much better now.

McCartney upset with Jagger for criticising Linda
Posted : Mon, 26 Nov 2007 06:57:04 GMT

London, Nov 26 - Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney was upset when his friend Mick Jagger, lead singer of the Rolling Stones, criticised his late wife Linda's musical talent.

McCartney had taught his wife Linda, a photographer, to sing and play the keyboards and she eventually joined his band Wings. However, fans and critics alike have dissected her contribution to music, contactmusic.com reported.

'(The criticisms were) like oil off a duck's back - but harder to shift. You know, it wasn't easy. But she was tough. The thing is we wanted to be together and we said, 'What right has anyone got to say we shouldn't be together in a band?' And the world seemed to think it was its affair. So we had people like Jagger saying, 'He's got his old lady in the band, oh f*****g hell.' I know Mick, he's sort of a mate, you know. I would think, Oh, f*****g thanks a lot tosser,' McCartney said.

Okay... this happened about 25 or 30 years ago at least... While we're on old new, how about that Titanic, damn!!!!

The Eagles were on 60 Minutes last night in a "hardhitting" Steve Crift piece. It played out like one long infomercial for their crappy new album. I was most disappointed in Croft's failure to ask about Joe Walsh's lobotomy & Don Henly's kiddie porn charges.

It was a FANTASTIC interview -- BEST Sixty Minutes YET !!!

How Do You Sleep? Lyrics
Artist(Band):John Lennon Review The Song (17) Print the Lyrics

So Sgt. Pepper took you by surprise
You better see right through that mother's eyes
Those freaks was right when they said you was dead
The one mistake you made was in your head
Ah, how do you sleep?
Ah, how do you sleep at night?

You live with straights who tell you you was king
Jump when your momma tell you anything
The only thing you done was yesterday
And since you're gone you're just another day
Ah, how do you sleep?
Ah, how do you sleep at night?

Ah, how do you sleep?
Ah, how do you sleep at night?

A pretty face may last a year or two
But pretty soon they'll see what you can do
The sound you make is muzak to my ears
You must have learned something in all those years
Ah, how do you sleep?
Ah, how do you sleep at night?

motesie, did you ever hear of that book "I Buried Paul"? Piss's old boss wrote it, it's from the POV of one of their dealers/wingmen who was privy to the real Paul's accidental death in Nov 66, and the subsequent cover-up.

mojoman LONDON (AP) -- Another day, another photographic flame for Paul McCartney?

Rosanna Arquette is the latest woman to be photographed with the 65-year-old ex-Beatle. The News of the World published pictures of McCartney and the 48-year-old actress walking together outside of what it said was McCartney's north London home.

The encounter took place last week, the British tabloid said -- only a month after McCartney was photographed embracing Nancy Shevell, a New Jersey trucking heiress and member of New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority board.

McCartney's love life has been the subject of intense scrutiny amid his messy, multimillion-dollar divorce from his second wife, Heather Mills. The rock legend has previously been spotted with Renee Zellweger and Christie Brinkley.

McCartney's spokesman refused to comment on the latest photos. A representative for Arquette could not immediately be located.

Starbuck joey....your praise of the eagles and lumping them together with our dear, beloved paul aren't helping "the cause" much.

please rethink your praise and choose your words carefully. the new eagles album has caused immediate myocardial infarctions in 7 out of 10 lab rats, recent studies show.

One of last two Titanic survivors dies
Published: Nov. 8, 2007 at 2:50 PM
UPI

TRURO, England, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Barbara West Dainton, one of the last two survivors of the sinking of the Titanic, has died in England at the age of 96.

Dainton, who refused to discuss the sinking during her life, also asked that no announcement be made of her death until after her funeral, This Is Hampshire reported. She was buried earlier this week after a service at Truro Cathedral.

A native of Bournemouth in Dorset, Dainton was a baby when her family set off for New York on the Titanic, making its maiden voyage from Southhampton in 1912. Her father, Edwy West, was killed when the vessel sank after striking an iceberg.

Dainton, her mother, Ada, and her sister, Constance, were rescued. They returned to England.

During her life, Dainton said she "wanted nothing to do with the Titanic people," the Encyclopedia Titanica said.

The only known living survivor of the sinking is Milvina Dean, 95, who lives in Woodbourne near Southhampton. Lillian Asplund, the last survivor old enough to remember the sinking, died last year in the United States just before her 100th birthday.

I was sitting through 2 hours of that movie the other day only to find out that the seven seconds of boobs have been edited out for cable TV. I was disappointed to say the least. I don't get it. They show hundreds of people dieing but have to edit out 7 seconds of nudity? Same with curse words...they censor out the "hole" when someone says asshole, and they censor "god" when someone says "god dammit." WTF?

corgi37 McCartney bagged the Stones circa 1989 for still touring. Then promptly began touring himself. Except Australia following the Bali bombing. He cynically used that as a excuse to cancel, failing to mention ticket sales were abysmal!

And now he's dating Rosanna Arquette. Which is a real step up for him.

She is hot. In a terrible-toothed-but-still-hot-old-bag kinda way.
