Indeed WE will party as no one has partied before......I simply cannot WAIT to be in your arms, my Stonesian Prince.

A tea party is now in the works! I haven't had any tea for 9 days now.....Mother is visiting and she is a teetotaler.

To think finally, MY Bob is playing YOUR Qwest Center!

Sheer heaven, my dear, sheer heaven.

Yes, I used to look a bit thinner, but "things have changed." I took on the Mae West look for my 50's.

Of course, Joey LOVES it!

Rich is better!

Gazza Bob Dylan's Cadillac ads are a gas

Times they are a-changin': Bob Dylan will promote the 2008 Cadillac Escalade in an ad campaign.

By Edna Gundersen, USA TODAY

On 2001's Summer Days, Bob Dylan sang, "I'm drivin' in the flats in a Cadillac car," a lyric that comes to life today in the debut of a multiplatform ad campaign for Cadillac.

In a 30-second TV spot, the music legend, sporting a cowboy hat and shades, steers a black 2008 Escalade across California's Antelope Valley before stepping out to survey the desert landscape.

He utters one line: "What's life without taking a detour?"

The ad also plugs XM satellite radio, a standard feature in the luxury SUV and home to Dylan's weekly Theme Time Radio Hour, which this Wednesday finds the bard spotlighting songs about the iconic auto.

In a long-form online vignette (viewable now at xmradio.com and starting Wednesday at cadillac.com and mycadillacstory.com), Dylan cracks, "You know what's even better than a great road tune? Not having some DJ talking all over it. Unless, of course, that DJ's me." Print and online ads begin in November.

It's not Dylan's first commercial venture; he has appeared in ads for iPod and Victoria's Secret.

Here I IS !!!!!!

The show was Awesome with " Girl Of The North Country " one of the highlights for me ( Pete Townshend did a wonderful rendition of this one at the Beacon Theatre during his 1993 solo tour ) .

I had excellent seats in the lower level ( close to the stage ) but Bob had his back towards me for most of the evening as he played strictly keyboards after the third song .

...and Elvis Costello -- What can I possibly say ?! That was worth the prices of admission RIGHT THERE !!!!

" Every Day I Write the Book Ronnie ! "

Joeykins .

Gazza Glad you had a great time. It was great to talk to you both...and I was surprised to discover you werent on the can when you spoke.

LadyJane Just talked to Martha and Parmeda outside the Chicago Theatre.
They have found Bob's Bus.
I believe Martha will be hiding in an overhead bin waiting for him after the show.

Yes Gazza , it was nice to finally talk with you on the phone . Luckily , I had just returned from the restroom when Martha called you on the cell .

Keith Moon , unfortunately , was busy chatting up some waitress at the restaurant and could not come to the phone !!!!!

I actually asked him was he on the bog. As Martha had just handed him the phone 5 seconds earlier, I was praying (for her sake) the answer was 'no'....

You are on FIRE !!!!!!

Lil Brian The Omaha show was nice (highlight for me being "Ain't Talkin'"). I stopped by Mr. Toad's but I must have been running too late and missed the Joey. Last I heard Martha was heading to Chicago. Both my buddies enjoyed the show. One had never seen Dylan and the other I'd been to several shows with but not since the GE Smith years with him, whenever that was. He was impressed with the quality of the show after all this time. Really great!

Just got home from the World Series too where I had to go see my beloved Rockies get swept. I was a great year for them but everyone is sad about the finish. I think they should trade Helton (while they can/save $$) and try and get some more pitching. Boston was the better baseball team. Maybe next year. go Rockies! CR
