Topic: PATS WIN!!! Return to archive
26th November 2006 09:12 PM
Nellcote Might be winning ugly, however, all of the NFL now knows who Assante Samuel is. Tom Brady, what more is there to say? 20-1 on turf, 21-4 vs NFC since 2001. Ask Brian Urlacker. Pug, Maroney=win!!
26th November 2006 11:36 PM
CraigP Hell yeah. They are smokin' this season.
27th November 2006 05:37 AM
lotsajizz I think to people outside of New England this team is a surprise.
27th November 2006 05:40 AM
Nellcote Jizzy, this is every year.
I went to NFL.com yesterday am, all of the stories were about Da Bears...
It's not a problem at all.
Being Under The Radar is fine...

corgi37 What the fucking hell are you talking about? Some local sport or something?
27th November 2006 06:37 AM
Nellcote Corgi, here in the States, every Sunday, from September to December is all about our version of football. Following that, a tournament is held, where the culmination is The Super Bowl, usually in early February. More can be found @
NFL.com. The Pats are the New England Patriots.
'scuse me if you've heard this all before...
27th November 2006 07:48 AM
NHStonesfan This Stones Fan almost had a heart attack when they called that 65 yard free 7 points bullshit pass interference call on Hawkins. What a fucking gift.

Even with those turnover that was a 17-6 game without that phantom call.

We deserved to win...we did not stop the run, did not make a big special teams play, grossman turned the ball over far too much, and Billy B made brilliant halftime adjustments. My glass is raised to the Pats for finding a way to win this game, even though they tried giving it away to us, it shows character and skill that the NE Defense was able to overcome the turnovers.

On a side note.....Junior's arm did not look good!!!!

Nellcote Reports are Junior is probably done.
Of course, news out of Foxboro regarding this is as business as usual, no comment.
Brady was decidedly upbeat today on the radio about his 9 yd juke to Urlacker, which will be talked of for a long time around here. Reality is the pop of the Chicago defense was the achilles heel of the Pats, those turnovers were for real, an area Pats need to improve upon, and it took Brady to gather the troops to get this done.

Towards the NFC, it will be a slug fest between Chicago & Dallas at the end. Parcells may have finally hit his stride with Romo, and while some might think not to take them seriously, they should not be taken lightly.
Football beyond Thanksgiving is the best football..

Very well worded. I agree with the entire post.

Nellcote Junior was placed on IR one hour ago.
His status is now bench leader of the defense.

nankerphelge That was a real shame -- always been a fan of Junior.

Good news - I took the Pats.
Bad news - I am a Giants fan.
What a train wreck.

hasn't finished a season in 4 years not being on ir.
great leader on and off the field...

your radio announcers and fans trashed his being acquired i listened to your pregame show one day in car (god help me) and i heard those two clowns make fun of jr and they had on a olineman who also made fun of jr... saying belli was searching the scrap heap... those idiots should be ashamed of themselves junior is a someone who left his mark where ever he's been.

i heard it and read it...

now you had a taste of him along with being only 1 tackle (69) behind brewski (70) and your fans cheered him...

Nellcote Yes Chevy, it's all true.
What would sports talk radio be without it?
Nothing different than Mike & The Moron......
It did seem kind of funny to see Junior tearful on the podium in San Diego, when he probably had his cell phone ringing about coming to NE, so a bit of this disingenious 'tude is with him. You do what you have to do. No question he is a good player, he was a rallying force with the D. Stories are leaking out that he did have issues with the Pats style, which he was not used to at his other stops in his carrer.
