Sir Stonesalot FG, it's easy to understand that reaction.

I'm betting that you have not seen any of Ed Wood's "work". If you haven't seen the movies, and you don't know anything about Ed, then there wouldn't be much to like. The plot wouldn't make much sense, and heck, it's not even in color!

Having been somewhat of an Edhead myself, I found plenty to like. Landau was fantastic as Bela, and Depp was pretty good as Ed. The angora sweater scene was note perfect...brilliant! It's a strange, odd, outta-kilter flick, and I just happen to like strange, odd, outta-kilter flicks.

That film was made for a particular audience with particular tastes. It wasn't made for the masses....just us flakes.

kath WONDERFUL movie if you're an Ed Wood afficianado like myself. just an "ok" movie if you're not. but martin landau got an academy award for that role (well deserved, too) and johnny was perfect as ed wood!

Factory Girl Thanks. Who has the Ed Wood dvd Box Set? Is it worth getting??? TIA!

Sir Stonesalot Save your money FG.

You can get the movies on VHS for cheap. Start there and then see if you think it's worth splurging on the DVD box.

I'm not gonna buy it, and I love Ed. That should tell you something.
