Sadly I will only be there in spirit unless:
1) I win the lottery.
2) Find a "Sugar Daddy" to bankroll my trip. (Any takers??? )
3) Resort to criminal activity for finances.
Hey..ya never know........

At this moment, it appears that Mrs Gazza and myself may manifest ourselves in the Cote d'Azur for a weekend in Nice in early August.
A city we both like, good weather and a Stones show in a small arena - and cheap direct flights.
sounds good to me!
barcelona is unfortunately out for me - wanted to go there but I'm on holiday in Italy and dont come home until the same day.
Amsterdam is a possibility, London a definite..and the as yet unannounced Berlin show sounds tempting...
The prices of UK tickets due to this ridiculous decision to make all the venues all seated and charge British fans far more money than everywhere else mean that the UK tour is a 'bust' as far as I'm concerned. 2006 will be the Easyjet Tour for a few British Rocks Offers it seems!

There is a slim chance that I will be in Amsterdam for the show. I was planning on heading there late Aug early Sept but I might come earlier for the show. I have to consult with some co-conspirators!

Why don't you all come down to Athens and I'll host you in my back yard
Seriously, I want to be in an RO gathering so much but I doubt that a) I'll have the Euros to travel to more than one city abroad, hotels, tickets etc. and b) I'll ever get over my fear of flying
The weather will be great, you can enjoy Greek souvlaki AND the Rolling Stones, you can score tickets until the very last minute, the show is always a sold-out in the end, the crowd is good and you can get to see them at their hotel more easily Come on, it's a great deal! |

Yeah, the Easyjet tour sounds cool! Licks was the Eurostar tour for me, but this year my banker may have serious reservations... Nice in Early August sounds more and more tempting. And there's Madrid, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Milan... Hot Euro summer! |

I'd love to!! Unfortunately I don't have the money to go to Athens as well. Damn, are we a pathetic bunch or what? Hehehehe |

I also think the RO meeting must be in Amsterdam, though (like Angelique) I am still seriously in doubt about getting tickets for the Arena.(high price for a shit-venue)
Somehowe/somewehere there's a little voice in my head telling me there will be a better gig in Holland this summer (don't ask me why: I don't know)
