Just saw it on channel 4. What a crock of tacky shit! I was depressed after watching it. The evil marketing men obviously got their hands on this. Even one of the great bands can't escape being dragged down to the gutters by the pathetic video age. Stick an uninspiring, souless, over produced mediocre song together in 5 mins, get some young totti to flash their tits in front of camera, and voila, you have yourself a hit. Can credibility sink any lower? Could The Stones be whored out anymore? Am I over-reacting?
I used to stand up for the Stones staying together, making new music ect but now I finally realise The Rolling Stones Incorporated are a joke, not necessarily all their own doing but they play a part of course. All artistic integrity is out the window for me.
Now i think I should head off to bed and calm down and get some sleep.Hehe!
Any thoughts? |

I've watched about half of it so far - what's so bad about it? I like the fact they have a *real* video again, instead of shooting them live and doing a montage. The colors are great and they put them in this "dirty" environment which really feels great to add them in - sort of like the "Saint of Me" video. What's not to like really?
If you want to download it, you can use a program that captures streaming video. I use Streambox VCR and it works fine. |

Actually, I thought it was okay. It was certainly better than the Streets Of Love video. The boys looked great, especially Mick. The only bit that made me cringe was the couple on the bed. I was watching it with my MUM! |

Good Video but Mick acted a little over the top with all of his moving gestures to give it all those gesticulate theatrics.
Would of been all good if he would of just sang it more naturally. I realize he is Mick Jagger so he has to spruce it up. I just think he over-did it on this video.
But other wise good video. Chicks were hot, and wet.....all the way around!

I know that a lot of people don't like the song itself so I wonder if any of them would like any RFD video. I love the song and I like the video. Most of their videos never manage to capture that sexy-Stonesy-rhythmic feel but at least this one tried. Rain Fall Down is what it is... the kind of song that's meant to be played in a club late at night, and the urban groove came through for me. And it also features the best use of the tongue logo in years. |

No doubt they'll have a tamer version and this is just an attempt to get some attention BUT Canadian prime time TV (and I don't mean cable) has always showed full nudity... it's not that big of a deal up here. |

I liked it.
I think they have been very clever with its content. It is raunchy, but no raunchier that lets say a Christina Aguilera video. They have the nipple shot at the end to, so it doesnt detract from the video when they cut it in editing. I think it will be played quite a bit. |
