Haven't posted in a long time, but this is really a sad day. STP was my second favorite band, and Scott Weiland with all of his problems, was an amazing live performer.

Hopefully, the Velvet Revolver thing will live up to the hype.

A couple of lessons learned from the actions of Mr. Scott Weiland - if you are rich enough to afford it and you're on parole:

1. have somebody else buy your drugs for you rather than hanging around abandoned buildings in NYC and annoucing to the cops that you've just bought hereoin when they ask you what you are doing there.

2. if you are f%#ked up, don't drive with your lights off at night with a prostitute in the car and avoid hitting parked cars (better yet have somebody drive you).

Oh well, at least the are the Stones, the Sterephonics, and now the Libertines.
