of course she can be on both sides, in fact they are not both sides as she is defending the people in afghanistan not osama bin laden, stupid press!
Nov. 21 — Some Americans visiting London
recently were outraged to see Bianca Jagger at a
benefit raising money for the victims of the
terrorist attacks. Earlier that very day, Jagger was a
vocal participant at a rally protesting American
policy in Afghanistan.
AGGER WAS ONE of the celebs who attended
Saturday’s “Unite for the Future” benefit in London at
which Jude Law performed and Kevin Spacey sang “Hey,
Jude.” Earlier in the day, she was a speaker at an
anti-bombing protest, in which George W. Bush was
accused of being a terrorist. Jagger herself accused Bush of
practicing “Wild West” justice and “lynch-mob retribution.”
“She can’t have it both ways,”
fumed one source who was at the “Unite
for the Future” benefit. “I know that
there are some people who say they are
pro-American and anti-bombing, but
what are we supposed to do? Make
Osama bin Laden and the terrorists stop
attacking us by singing ‘Kumbaya’ at
them? It’s especially shameful to protest
against your own country abroad.”
Jagger says she sees no contradiction in her position. “I
live in New York, and I was in New York at the time of the
attacks,” Jagger tells the Scoop. “All my sympathies and
thoughts are with the people of New York. At the same
time, I am a defender of civil liberties and a defender of
innocent people being killed.”
