Topic: Monday Night Football and Mick Return to archive

Mikey Did anyone catch the halftime show of last night's MNF game? They always have a "miked up" segment, where the air edited dialouge between the players on the field. Well last night they had a "Mick'ed up" special where Dennis Miller had a brief interview with Mick, where Mick commented on last week's game (with its bizarre ending) and with Mick concluding that "the correct call was made". Then then went into an approx 45 sec clip of the "God gave me everything" video along with clips of ferocious NFL hitting with the fierce tune in the background. Awesome!

Cardinal Fang Hey !

The video looked pretty good. (minus the Football highlights) Mick in a grocery store isle, Mick in a laundry mat, Mick at the El Rey Theater from last Thursday. Through out the interview Dennis Miller is looking away or down at the floor.

Also when they went to commercial breaks they had been playing Stones songs like One Hit To The Body and Let's Spend The Night Together.

ABC must of layed out some serious cash for Being Mick for them to first hype it last week with the primetime interview and then now during Monday Night Football playing Stones songs and doing a half time interview with Mick. Mick and Monday Night Football.

What's next? A Mick walk on during Drew Carey? Guesting on Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher? Mick playing on Who Want's To Be A Millionaire? (OK, In his case, Billionaire) Stay Tuned to your local ABC station.

Later, Cardinal Fang
