From down under, and not liking it very much.
Going from 25 to 3°c in only 24hrs makes me feel a bit like Jair does now and then.
But australia was great, even though they seem to hate the stones more than the brits do;
You can’t buy their records anywhere
(except that one place in melbourne that has a copy of rewind. If you want Corgi, I can give you the address),
and I haven’t heard the boys on the radio once.
Although when flying back, I did see an interview with mick (exclusively for quantas airlines)
where he said they most likely will tour there, so...
Anyway, is there anything I missed?, any scoops?, who’s fighting with who?,
what’s new and exciting?????
Mainly I’d like to know;
- bang album sales so far
- is the special edition (with 2 brand-spanking-new songs AND a video) out yet?
- any news on european tour dates & ticket sales?
- How’s the NYC gathering shaping up?
- How’s JB?
- How’s the US tour going?
- what do they put in vegemite?
It's good to be here.... though it would be better with
a bit of sun & 30°c

Egon, France has burnt !
we re definitely a terrorist country for our US friends...Anyway yes, this jcdesq wanker was banned.
The Stones did a pityful version of RFD on American music awards, the 2 new songs are boring as hell, and the dvd sold with ABB seems...lame too.
Sir Stonesalot and Ian Billen will soon get married.

Ian wants "Living on a Prayer" to be "our" song.
I want "Dead or Alive"(preferably dead).
What do you think? |

I think it will be a great moment of love and happiness.
in fact, I think "dancing in the starlights" from GITD or
"Enter Sandman"(the motorhead version of course) could fit perfectly too!

Hope you had a good time Egon. We need full reports on the bikini status in Queensland. Pity you couldnt get back in time. We got our new kitchen, and i even had the good luck to win $2,500 in a lotto prize, so the drinks were on me!
It's true the Stones dont get airplay here. Some songs off ABB got an airing, then its straight back to Start me up. Queensland in particular is not a good Stones state. It's all reggae and summer type songs up there. Dont forget, the Gold Coast is Heaven's waiting room. We ship all our old codgers up there.
It was cool to meet you, and all the best. Now, you best be off and buy a shotgun. There could be some Muslims coming for your whitey, infidel ass.
Lord knows they want mine. |

You were my 1st net date too, Egon. You took my cherry. Hope you found this country to your liking.
Trouble is, now my wife is saying "Can we go to Marseilles?"
But, you slut, you'll be meeting more RO'ers soon. I am jealous. My babies were asking about you too. "Where is your friend, Egon?" And, "When is Egon coming back?"
Anyway, boys/girls, if any one gets the wonderful chance to visit the greatest country on Earth, dont fail to contact your mate Corgi.
I'll show that tart, Egon. |
