I'm listening Kate Bush's new single "King of the mountains" too. I consider her first LP "The Kick Inside" a masterpiece and she was very good live.

At the time of "Wuthering Heights" (the song) she wasn't even twenty. Amazing.

Deep Purple's new CD (not very good IMO)

At the first listening on each song (still mp3, before buying it) I thought the same. But after some more time playing it, it DOES sound very good, maybe at the same level of Bananas, better than Abandon and not as good as Perpendicular (first album with Steve Morse).

Every sound really grown on me, mostly after coming back home after going to see them in a bookstore to have autographs of them all, plus posing with a picture with Ian "The Voice" Gillan - living legend of Rock'n'Roll. God bless you Ian. As the only thing I had the chance to say to him, "Keep on Rockin' and we'll keep on following you".

It's growing on me, I like Bananas a lot more but that album took time to like me, so maybe is the same this time.

Later I will post the pix I took of them and of the autographed album. "Wrong Man", "Girls Like That", "Rapture of the Deep", "Clearly Quite Absurd" (PERFECT beautiful song) are among the best of the album.
