Topic: Keith's guitar on Can't You Hear Me Knockin' recording Return to archive
November 24th, 2004 11:13 AM
J.J.Flash IMHO, I bet Keith used a Les Paul on Can't You Hear Me Knockin'. I am almost sure CYHMK hadn't been recorded with a lousy Telecaster.....I mean.....most of the masterpieces our god has done has been played with a Telecaster, I know.....

I just can't believe all that rawness came from a telecaster.....

Even Clapton when on Cream played only with Les Paul guitars I think. Ohhhhh that rawness.....

I find your all out and unprovoked attack on the telecaster
unwarranted, without merit, racist, and highly objectionable

Having said that, if it was a Telecaster it had the humbucker pickup. Word is it might have been a Strat, my cousin

Regardless, it is the amp setting he used that I want to know about

J.J.Flash Oh dear Tele... no pun intended.....

I'm sure you will understand......
