It was perhaps, the greatest song ever written... |

Never understood why Loving Cup didn't become a big radio hit/war horse. That song has everything the masses usually like.
The world just ignored Exile for the most part and continues to do so. |

True...was reading a Stones related article this weekend, and even when it first came out, many did not like Exile..it's only the last few years that people realize that this was the greatest album ever,.... and fuck those losers who still think Sgt. Pepper was good...that was pure garbage compared to what the boys were putting out...I hate the Beatles. |

Did I ever mention that the 'Titanic' also came from liverpool,
In liverpool they can't do anything right,
Titanic was not such a big succes I believe,
there is something else from liverpool, can't recall what

By the way, went to Springsteen saturday night at AAA, and had to see Bono come out or "Because the night"...otherwise a fair show, heavy on the new material... |

Love Is Strong. I'll never understand why this GREAT tune wasn't a smash hit for the Stones! Never!
And on a lesser note, Highwire. That tune rocks! Wish they would do it live.
You Don't Have To Mean It?? Absolutley. Best reggae song the boys EVER did.
Plus Keith's Thief In The Night. Great stuff! |

I thought when Love Is Strong came out, leaked early on the radio even, that it would be a big hit. I mean shit, classic Keith riff, Charlie going stong, good bass from the new boy at the time, and Mick on top of his game. Sparks will fly too with the sexual inuendo's the Stones are famous for. But no the brainwashed youth of America would not bite the big apple. |
