I just realized -- I didn't hear ANYTHING Stones yesterday (Monday).
Whoah.
I blame Max -- I was busy making country music CDs for him.
And now he's gonna be too sober to enjoy them.
What a revolting development this is!

Was under the impression that he is doing all right on Hank Williams, and I don't own any CDs of Tammy, so he's getting a rather righteous comp with some Lefty Frizzell, a bunch of hard drinking western swang, a little Charlie Feathers and his fellow Sun kin, and an entire CD of George Jones from his Mercury period.
George Jones is the Rolling Stones of country music.

Wed 20th Nov - "worried about you" from el mocambo (again) (I will have to come up with something different for tomorrow)
shortly after that switched from car CD to the radio in time to here the "manic street preachers" doing "out of time" - only confirmed my comments of the other day that stones covers by male vocalists are generally superfluous (sp?) ...musically it's pretty much a re-tread of the original as well |
