Topic: Mat TREIBER show London Return to archive

Michael Phillip Has anyone here ever caught Mat Treiber playing in Los Angeles (or New York or London)? He's been introduced onstage in L.A. by Bernard Fowler, Ivan Neville, and has opened for Blondie Chaplin. He's a lead guitar player with great songs (Dylan-esque lyrics), and young. One Stones fan who recently saw him said his guitar playing was "strictly Keith, Ya-Yas era," and his slide playing was "pure Brian Jones." He's also been a guest of Keith's at some of the recent European shows. Check out a snippet of music on the News Page here: http://www.themattreibergroup.com

THE MARQUEE CLUB, LONDON, TUESDAY NOVEMBER 27, 10PM.

Any comments from anyone who's seen him or checks out the site, or goes to this show, please post!
