IIRC, Mick cited Elvis as an early influence in the 25x5 documentary (1989) and more recently in Acording to the Rolling Stones. He says he was doing Elvis impersonations in front of his mirror, that kind of stuff.
Edit: on second thought... Did I perchance miss a joke, here, Gazza? Mick doesn't speak much about Elvis in the intw, just says he "was influenced by people like Buddy Holly and Elvis and so on" and then goes on about Buddy Holly.
