parmeda SIA, you had me staring for a second too...lol.

Voo...Thanks for the flashback! The Amphitheater was a great place to see concerts "back-in-the-day". And I remember, that show ROCKED!!!

You have me questioning the date when the Barbarians were here. For some reason, I want to say it was later in the year around July. It doesn't matter...it's just nice to have a chance to look back sometimes, thanks!

VoodooChileInWOnderl The date is correct, The New Barbarians US tour1979 ended in San Diego, May 22, then the next gig was until August at the Knebworth Park.

During June and July Keith, Woody and Bobby were present at the Emotional Rescue Sessions.

nankerphelge That is a great pic -- I especially like the pot leaf necklace on Keith! Wonder what happened to it! Maybe Keith got worried about pot making him schizo -- apparently there have been a couple of recent reports outta the UK that dope makes you schizo.

That's bullshit..............................

................ no it's not, it can happen

You're full of shit asswipe...................

................you think so, keep it up dopey

Who you callin' dopey, fuckface...............

.................nobody calls me fuckface

VoodooChileInWOnderl BTW, that day they payed dead drunk and the late Junior Wells was a guest in two songs, Key To The Highway and Hoodoo Thing. We had a header with Junior singing, it was used in the anniversary of his death.

parmeda Thanks Voo...now, I'm remembering.

Damn...I started that Nolte thing sooner than I can recall!

FTELE52 I was at the old Amp that night as well. I have some photos from that gig that I took with one of those 110 fil binocular cameras. I thought Keith sat down at the piano that night to play a Tammy Wynette number...was I stoned or is that right?
