sunnybandyo99 Age is 19 and I was on the road

Doing the things which you will never see I've been used as being confused

you can put the blame on me

I've been misunderstood

Never could be satisfied

Living how you think I should

Don't tell me what to do

And don't tell me how to spend my time

I ain't got nothing to hide

I'm free to be, what I wanna be

For my age is 19

And nobody owes my mind

For my age is 19

I got my sunshine

And I got my sunshine smile

robpop Fuck smoker's rights.

Smokers should have no right smiking in any building or place open to the public.

Their smoke makes your clothes stink. Not to mention I do have a disease that came from second hand smoke. Thank you all of you fucking bastards for lighting up. Go to Iraq.

It's called your rights daddy. If I own a bar, like the Loving Cup, I should have the right to decide if I want to allow smoking. Just like it is your right not to go there. What other right are you willing to give up?

For My Babies ........

Lift up your head my love
for thee I cherish forever
as we embrace this starried night
and wherever I must go
I'll be there in your heart
and never will you be alone

Sick all the time and addicted to nasal spray from being raised by chain smokers who cared more about their addictions and filthy habits than their child's health and welfare. Almost passed out in a club where it seemed everybody but me was smoking. I hate the stuff. Keep it in your house or your car. If you have kids, the DCFS should take them away.

Joey " Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence

In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turn my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never shared
No one dared
Disturb the sound of silence

"Fools," said I, "you do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you"
But my words like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls
And whispered in the sound of silence

Leaves That Are Green (2:23)
P. Simon, 1965
I was twenty-one years when I wrote this song
I'm twenty-two now but I won't be for long
Time hurries on
And the leaves that are green turn to brown
And they wither in the wind
And they crumble in your hand

Once my heart was filled with the love of a girl
I held her close but she faded in the night
Like a poem I meant to write
And the leaves that are green turn to brown
And they wither in the wind
And they crumble in your hand

I threw a pebble in a brook
And watched the ripple run away
And they never made a sound
And the leaves that are green turn to brown
And they wither in the wind
And they crumble in your hand

Hello, hello, hello, hello
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye
That's all there is
And the leaves that are green turn to brown
And they wither in the wind
And they crumble in your hand "

"Don’t Take My Man Away"

Give me thunder, give me rain,
Give me hunger, give me pain,
One more thing I say again,
Please don’t take my man away.

Give me winter cold and dry,
Cut my finger make me cry,
But one thing that beggeth I,
Please don’t take my man away.

Give me thunder, give me rain,
Give me hunger, give me pain,
But one thing I say again,
Please don’t take my man away.

Give me winter cold and dry,
Cut my finger make me cry,
But one thing that beggeth I,
Please don’t take my man away.

As Neil Young sang "It's hard to see the meaning in this song (in this case poem)." But that was... interesting. Thank you, we'll keep in touch... actually I've just conferred with the poetry judges of RO and we have already decided you're just not right to cast for the role of Maynard G. Krebs.
