I'm sitting here sweating to death in Philly waiting for the AC show tomorrow. The temp is pushing 70-something.
I cannot wait to be in the presence of the Stones once again. I just spoke to LadyJane, and my enthusiasm was boundless. She notched it up a few degrees.
I'll be there as the Stones do it up as only the Stones can. If some of you didn't get it yet, I am such a devoted, hard core lifer for the music the Stones play. It's in me, around me, I can feel it, and I know it deep to my bones. There's a primal energy in their chemistry and in the way they sound...an urgent, romantic, ragged, blues-tinged, enthusiastic, otherworldly, and rockin' sound. This is the sound of MY band.
It's the Rolling Stones. Let's all get fucked up together, jamming to Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Charlie. Let's dance and sing, shout and make love. The Stones are coming, and ain't nothing gonna stop 'em from giving us 110%.
God bless the Rolling Stones! |

At this point, I can't figure out why I did not make plans to attend. Have a Blast! |

Damn, this is a show I should have made. I tried hard to get into the Beacon and I guess it kind of took the wind out of my sails when I did not get in (should have sent the pic below instead of my ugly mug--I know idiot). Our consolation prize is that we get to see Bobby Weir & Ratdog in a couple of hours and within walking distance. I know that sounds pretty good, but I can't help bumming not going to this indoor Eastcoast show.
Have a great time RocksOff & Shidobbee!!

Nice to see that I was getting good and primed prior to the show.
