Madafaka Megadeth - The System Has Failed
Is not the better album of Mustaine & Co., but sounds better than "Risk".

Ramones - Adios Ramones
Last concert recorded live in 1996 at River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires. Yeah! The same place that played the Stones ten times.

Rolling Stones - 12x5
I love that version of "If You Need Me"

Madafaka I love them too Soldatti.
They were the only band that I've seen play live about fourteen times. They loved our country.
Those happy years...

I have almost 500 Ramones gigs and thats definitely one of the best. They should release the complete show without commercial edits on DVD. Most of the gigs are the same but at the River Plate show they really feed off the crowd's energy.

Is that the radio broadcast where he has everyone say "Courtney we miss you," because she was "sick" back at the hotel and they play Louie Louie for about a minute before Teen Spirit?

I don't have that boot. There are a lot of bootlegs with the same date. I've found the following:

Coma
Dark Emotion
Europe 1994
Heart Shaped Rome
Kurts Grand Finale
Last Concert In Italy
Plugged
Roma
The Last Cry
Tour Over Europe 1994
XXII II MCMXCIV
The Final Fix
The Concerts In Italy
The Last Goodbye
Bang! You're Dead!
Throw Them To The Lions!

Mine is "ROMA"
This is a bootleg classic, if there is such a thing. This is an FM broadcast quality recording. The band isn't very energetic, and the performance suffers (especially when compared to shows played a week earlier in France).
The extent of Kurt's interaction with the audience is a simple "Gracias" (Thank You) before "Smells Like Teen Spirit." Krist tries to bring up the sprits and leaves the crowd with many memorable quotes. Sad to say only two full shows and one TV apprentice were all that was left in the band's future.

Soldatti Do you have the boot of Nirvana on Buenos Aires?

magicwoman metallica-ride the lightning
October 15th, 2004 08:46 AM
justforyou Ride the Lightning, yes it's their best, raw power, but more refined than Kill 'Em All. I remember seeing them on that tour at the SAGA hall with room for 1000, but only about 250 fans showed up. Good concert, even caught a Lars drumstick that a heavy chick wanted real bad.

I'm listening to 'The Return of Woody Wood Breaker' - Keith & Ron at the Kilburn Theatre '74, excellent sound. Thanks to the kind seeders at EzTorrent. Awesome stuff there, also Flip the Switch's Kurhaus show on DVD - though I don't know if it's awesome yet...
