corgi37 What? Nothing from Back to the egg?

I'd want my money back from that lame ass, meat avoiding, goggle-eyed, 1 legged loving, songwriting credit switching, gormless, asshole.

P.S. I regret nothing.

Saw MACCA at THE QWEST CENTER two weeks ago .....

One of the best concerts I have EVER witnessed --- MACCA played every song that I wanted to hear ( how many artists do something like THAT )

Quarter Tone I saw Sir Paul in Portland three days after seeing the Stones (British invasion week in Oregon). The set list posted above looks the same as what I saw. Good show but a little too polished. The repeated false endings to I'll Follow the Sun were a bit much.

I went to see Macca when he did the Back in the World tour at Kings Dock Liverpool and it lasted for 3 hours!
I met the Beatles first manager Alan Williams at the Grapes pub prior to the concert. Was a great experience.

Loved LIVE AND LET DIE!

How can you say that when there are Wings songs in there!!!??????????

If there was a Book Of Rules For Rock 'n' Roll, rule 1 could be;
1. Do NOT let your wife on the stage and play an instrument!

texile hey quarter - what's the acoustic set besides blackbird?
it's my favorite part.
November 17th, 2005 02:32 PM
Quarter Tone Eleanor Rigby started out with just Paul on guitar then built up with keyboard and background singers. (the drummer is a character!) Rather nice.

I still stand by my comment, though, that I'll Follow the Sun was slightly lame.

Drive My Car (from Rubber Soul, 1967)

Rubber soul was released in 1965 so the San Jose review appears to have a misprint (Rubber Soul is one of favorite Beatles albums).

Paul live??? Highly entertaining and very professionally done. Well worth the price of admission if you haven't seen him before. He always seems to choose a great setlist which he normally plays note for note throughout the tour.

You also get the illusion your listening to the Beatles when, in fact, all your really listening to is Macca solo (a big difference- I've always had the feeling that if John, George, and Ringo were there with Macca you would be getting an entirely different show; a much more exciting show). A bit unfair to be sure as it's no longer possible and it's as close to the Beatles as one will ever get in the here and now but, what the hell, that's the way I see it.

I've seen Paul three times before but had no real interest in seeing him on this tour. Not sure why but it was kind of been there done that type thing.

Also, saw MACCA on back to back nights and everything was exactly the same. Everything down to the exact same stage banter between songs (the song themselves were, of course, exactly the same). Paul's very good at what he does and he delivers a very professional, entertaining show.

Not sure if Macca's changing up things a bit on this tour. Haven't really been keeping up. I'm not really interested. I'm not sure why.

Shawn20 The Macca show I saw in Tampa was one great show. I saw him fall into the hole in the stage.......I thought he was really hurt. He carried on like a trooper.

' Arse - kicking ' side .... slim figure .... dark hair .... has all his hair ... knew John Lennon pretty well .... knew Geoge Harrison pretty well .... had tons of Black Women ( see : Ronnettes ) ... Linda Eastman ... net worth of one billion dollars ... etc

texile paul is the most underrated artist ever....and the greatest bass player in ANY genre.
there's a new interview with lennon to be published by rolling stone where john trashes paul AND jagger -
i loved john but the guy was so gullible and insecure.
