Ten Thousand Motels Several Good B_movies/Drive-in fare.

The Hills Have Eyes
Invasion of the Blood Farmers
Frankenstien's Castle of Freaks
Carnival of Blood
---------------------------------------------------------

Not B-Movie, but I can't let a 70's movie thread pass without mentioning Ken Russel's "THE DEVILS."

marko outlaw josey wales,Clints one of the best westerns.
Play misty for me,also forgotten clint "gem"

1970ies was the best movie and music era. When u think of it
nothing really spectacular hasn´t happened after 1979,except for special effects. But effects doesn´t cover
ex acting.

MrPleasant I'd forgotten these:

The Go-Between (A perfect, mathematical film about the emotional corruption of a boy.)

Fat City (John Huston's boxing film. Perfect to drink along to if you're down and want to stay down.)

texile there was great shit in the 70s - alot of original and edgy filmaking....that was the norm and it wasn't rooted in the prententious sundance mentality of the 90s and now -it was creativity for the sake of it...
and these movies were hits.
were audiences smarter than?

Mr Jimmy Burt's work was mighty fine in Deliverance:

"This is the last chance we got to see this river"

(notes) ... a contribution to the eclogical debate as much as
a study of the primitive responses that lie dormant beneath the
urban pate of modern man....
