There is an excellent article in today's L.A. Times about Amoeba Music (the Mecca for music collectors). Amoeba is now starting its own record label and the first CD release will be a "previously unreleased 1969 concert" by Gram Parsons.
It's a cool article--highly worth reading--that shows how unique and successful Amoeba has been during a time of implosion in the music business.
