We have all been humiliated by this version and should feel shame. |

You nailed it. We have been humiliated enough this year with Macca, U2 ticket sales, album sales, wide open venues, people complaining about ticket prices and setlists, that I have finally decided that we (true stones fans) have had enough and shall begin to defend the band we love, not insult them. Wild HOrses was done perfectly by the stones and all other versions are not as good, thus humiliating. (although the version that Keef did at the Gram Parsons trib show was great, that one has an asterisk by it as it involved Keith) |

I concur re: Old and In the Way. I saw them perform Wild Horses at the Churchill High School Auditorium in Eugene, Oregon in May 1973. They opened for New Riders of the Purple Sage, who covered Honky Tonk Women that night. |
