marko Just e-mailed this tree idea to mac daddy, being restless,
must get some tree action back on this board!
Ok,the idea of this is,to tree all shows, which were performed on this particular town, whatever that is.But places like NYC,LA,London,Tokyo,,,,,,,where they´ve allways
done multiple shows,must be treed,in 2 parts,at least.
Im sure, that here are people, who would like to see their
hometown treed......I have stuff to share, what some of you
have never heard of.
My personal first choice would be,boston.Don´t know why.
November 9th, 2004 09:59 AM
jb Thanks marko! How is SDH doing these days?
November 9th, 2004 11:06 AM
Madafaka An excellent idea!
November 9th, 2004 11:09 AM
marko LOL,,,,,i knew heres more crazy(bastards),than just me.
Max,any idea what you would like to hear, next?
But also remember people,IF you want,for example,all,chicago
shows to be treed(whats available) some are AWFUL like
chicago-69.

Could be great 3 american cities, 3 european cities, etc.
The best tree of 3
November 9th, 2004 11:33 AM
marko Hmm,the idea was actually, tree ALL shows from each city,
where they´ve been.
Like NYC 69-75,then NYC 78-89,then NYC 94-03.not to mix
cities/countries.
If you want to hear, lets say ALL Phoenix show, then i´ll seed
Phoenix-69,Phoenix-81 and Phoenix-97.
The 1981 show is now treed at 2nd 81 tour tree.
I could also tree Buenos Aires 1995&1998.But this first,i
think should be a standout, not a regular place.
November 9th, 2004 11:40 AM
marko BTW max, would you do some of the cover arts in the future?
I´m also about to tree the studio sets again.
November 9th, 2004 11:41 AM

Sure! It will be a pleasure!
November 9th, 2004 11:45 AM
marko YES i WILL,tree/seed with Mac daddy ALL SHOWS from each city! The places where they´ve done MANY like NYC,must be
treed in several parts.
Best boston.,,ah,can´t say, best is probaply from 97 or
03(orpheum).89 are just ok,75 is great 72 nice, still ok for
72,,69 is a problem,but historically important.I was just
checking,Australia shows,Sydney gives hell of great tree!
November 9th, 2004 11:52 AM
Madafaka Excellent! Tell me if you need some help. I could do the art work and could be the South American brach too.

marko London seems to be the first one to go!
November 10th, 2004 08:27 AM
Gazza there are (by my calculations) approximately 33 shows in London since 1969 that are in circulation, which would work out at around 60 discs.

Theyve done 39 New York/NJersey area shows in that time, of which around 36 or so are available.

Throw in some 30 Los Angeles shows in circulation, 25 from Chicago, 24 Tokyo shows, about 23 from San Francisco/Oakland and 21 from Paris (since 1965)and I reckon youre going to be slightly busy!

Those 7 cities alone would clock in at some 192 shows and around 360 discs, give or take a few.

marko Thats a fucking big number,,,,so,maybe we should just do
"best" of the cities or something like that.
I wanna know what mac daddy thinks after all?

what i think, eh..?

well, i think we have the first volume of this sorted out, right..?

as for the long-term project - i am a completist, and am really looking at this from an archival point of view. eventually i want 'em all, complete, from the 1969 gig in hyde park to the last 1981 show in the US (and anything else i find interesting along the way)...

but a tree/month (5 - 10 discs) is not unrealistic. and we can always vine the stuff that nobody cares about.

if we can coordinate with a few tech-saavy, broadband RO members, we can do this even more efficiently...

marko Sounds good to me! But,now i´m waiting to get a NEW copy
of London 8th september 1973,there was a burning error,on
the cdr i have now, takes few more days to sort it out.
