I don't think so -- that gas worked so quick they didn't even have time to detonate the bombs. From Sergey's last post above -- he was making a whole buncha weird noises.... |

Nanker, handled a case that made the local news...represented a couple that met through a dating service....they signed a contract that if they get married, they pay a "bonus" fee of several thousand dollars...they get married and don't pay.....I , along with 2 other attorneys with same contracts(cases were consolidated as same Plaintiff in both cases)argue that these clauses are contrary to public policy as they would have a "chilling" effect on marriage....site tons of caess from other jurisdictions that hold these contracts void for public policy....Judge rules against us...basically a contract is a contract rationale....My quote in the journal is "The is the only case in any state upholding these type of contracts. A couple who meets and falls in love, should not have to pay a "kicker" if they decide to get married." The
other side is appealing, but we settled as the 1200.00 dollar fee was over 5000 with atty fees award...
