Dear Stones Fan,

Not necessarily...There is still March 2, if the Mexico shows don't sell well. Or there is also after March 12, if they schedule more shows before Hawaii and Japan.
November 8th, 2005 07:34 AM
Gazza I think you can bet your mortgage that the Mexico shows will 'sell well'

Interesting that there's been no further mention of the San Antonio show that was briefly added for 7th March and then quickly withdrawn

I guess a show in Vegas generates more $$$

I'd be surprised if there are any more US shows added now, though

There are Knicks games there on the 13th & 15th.
Can they squeeze in the set-up and show in one day?
(Hope so...)

Yes, with the arena stage they can. There was a basketball game at the Wachovia Center in Philly on October 11th, between the two shows. I think there will also be an NHL game between the two Boston shows in January.

mac_daddy have you seen the prices of tickets to this vegas show..?

check it out...
November 13th, 2005 10:18 AM
Jumping Jack They are all lousy seats as well. All floors and close lower sections are held back. You couldn't even get them with a 5/9 code.

If you go to Vegas be prepared to pay through the ass for very poor seats! Can't wait for Friday.

quel surprise

The Stones add another show in Vegas with the highest priced tickets of the entire tour when they could have easily played a show in another city which hasnt seen them yet...

"it's only rock 'n' roll" after all, aint it....?

gimmekeef Christ..the $472 tix go two-thirds of the way up!..Laughed when my "secret" word to Ticketmaster came up RAISE....thats what I'd need to afford to go there..!

Jumping Jack Supply and demand. Demand is so high here the Stones can give all the floors and close seats to sponsors and brokers and make way more than the $100/4 seats = $25 premium they get from the fan club. I am sure they are giving blocks to the brokers who in return kick back a big percentage of the added mark-up.

I was pissed all I could get was L16 after bitching with TM Customer Service for the 11/18 show. Looks like I was quite lucky in hindsight.

GimmeExile All concerts are expensive in Vegas. Vegas is the only city where Alanis Morissette could charge $150 for a ticket.

Exactly

hopefully the delusional idiots who insist they're "only in it for the music" and think the band are fan-friendly will wake up from their dreamworld

Its unbelievable that you can only get shit tickets in the first pre-sale
November 13th, 2005 05:41 PM
Jumping Jack Smart people travel to the lower demand venues. Same show and much easier to get decent seats. I got On Stage at Duke, 10th row two days before Charlotte, and 4th row inAtlanta for $97. Pick your shows and use your code wisely.

Friday is a Vegas holiday that just happens to have a Stones show, not the other way around.
November 13th, 2005 05:49 PM
glencar I gotta decide between this show & Ft. Lauderdale. It looks like FLA is winning.
November 14th, 2005 06:13 AM
Jumping Jack Mr. L, I mean Ft. L is a bust!!!

Save up for Phillips in March!!!
November 14th, 2005 06:42 AM
Voodoo Scrounge I would love to go and see the stones in vegas. I been there once before
November 14th, 2005 08:25 AM
gimmekeef What ya'll expect...Wayne Newton still sells tickest in Vegas for chris sakes. The casinos gobble up the best seats to comp the high rollers. Its a rigged game there just like everything else.If you go enjoy your "free" drinks!
