Remember that moment well. Wembley Stadium, final night of the 1989/90 tour. Keith singing 'Before they make me run' and Matt & Bill creeping up alongside him and doing this. Keith was so into his performance (I dont think he'd hardly played the song all year) that I doubt he even noticed them.
It was also Bill's last show as a Stone (and Matt Clifford's last gig too, now I think about it!). Maybe they thought this was going to a future routine in the show which would mean moving around a lot more and they made a pact to quit...
