Has anyone seen him and his band? He's coming to St. Pete on the 23rd and I have to admit I know nothing except for the fact that he is Bob's son. Bottom line, is this a must see show?
Thanks in advance,

I saw him back in the late 80's, when he had his only single "Tommorrow People". It was a long time ago and I don't remember all the details. It was kind of cool, but he is not his old man.

One of his recent cds, I think it's called beautiful day, is stripped down and very good. He covers High Seas and Lows Seas by his dad. I am thinking about checking him out in Boston on Sunday night. I saw him once before and would say he is fine, not great.

I think I saw him at Raggae Sunsplash in St. Louis in 92 but I don't remember if he was there or not. One of the MArleys was. Everyone was pretty good that day. He doesn't to have the same world-vide his father had though.

Seen him a couple of times a long time ago when he was with his brother and two sisters in the Melody Makers. Very good reggae show. I don't think he plays a lot of that now though since he's gone solo (which is a shame, they had some pretty good tunes), although I've heard as expected he still throws in a few classic Bob Marley tunes. |
