Sympathy has not been good on the last few tours, with its pre-recorded intro....The old school guitar riff intro on the other had is classic.

what about this awful and shitty song "Street Fighting Men"?
9th November 2006 04:59 PM
paddy Street Fighting Man is my all time favourite.i would settle for that played 19 times at the next show i attend.

a great song.especially if you grew up like me ,in London in the sixties.

I disagree. The way the guitars jump in at the first chorus is just so powerful, especially with the cool fireworks. If the would improve the solos todays sympathy would be the best song in the set.

Let me reword my original comment. I did not state what I meant. It's not a bad song now. I just don't care for the canned music being played. I could accept this from Depeche Mode, but not the world's greatest rock and roll bad.

F505 Paddy is the same man who thinks Modern Times is the worst Dylan record ever....
10th November 2006 08:28 AM
paddy yes,the very same ! i bow to your superior knowledge re Bob Dylan.i've only seen him 116 times in concert and collected 5,000 odd of his CDs and i've only been listening to him for a mere 40 years.

it's funny how if you mention a song you are fed up with some people react as if you had mugged their granny........
