My boy Paolo first words were "woo woo woo woo" every time
I was listening "It Must be Hell". That became like a habit.
Many times later on, when he wants listen a song, he pointed a finger to my stereo and said "woo woo woo woo", as Mick in that song.
Today he's 20 and into hip hop stuff, but admitt the guys are "really, really good".
Oh yes, and he learned say "papa" too

I had all of my children taken out and shot at dawn in 1997 because they didnt appreciate "Exile on Main Street".
I did it to save them going to school in future years and being infleunced by other kids with no sense of good music whatsoever.
I have convinced myself ever since it was entirely for the best. |

If I had a kid, and it hated the Stones, I would think that there had been a mix-up at the hospital. So I would take the little sprog back and exchange it for a cooler one. |

I`m not sure, because my daughter ELISA is just 6 month old, but she smiles to Anybody seen my Baby!
Did I told you that we "made" her after the Hannover Show last year? |

Is taste acquired from out side conditioning or is it a genetic predispostion? If ones kids don't like the Rolling Stones, one can always blame their spouse for passing down defective genes. |

My son(9 next month) really digs the Stones.
When we go on road trips he always asks if we can take 40 Licks with us. You should see people look at him when he hears a Stones song on a TV ad or on the piped in music in a store...he goes "Hey Dad, listen! It's the Stones!"
I took him to the Giant's Stadium show on the last tour. He was out in the aisle dancing and singing. Pretty girls would dance with him, give him those little flashing Stones tongues...he looked like a frigging blinky xmas tree by the time the show was over. If I had a dollar for every time someone came up to my wife & I and said that they wished their parents had done something like that for them when they were that young....well, I probably could have bought an official T-shirt.
He's already been asking if we can go to another Stones show. I said, "If there are more shows, we are there."
I've taken some shit about taking my kid to a show like that. To them, I say, fuck you. I see it as my parental duty to make sure my son can tell his grandkids...."I saw the Stones and Bob Dylan play live." This is important. There are no more Stones or Dylans out there. I doubt there ever will be. This is why it's important for us to give our kids the opportunity to take this stuff with them into the next generation.
My kid had a great time with Bob and The Stones. Don't be afraid to take your kids...years down the road, they'll thank you. |

Yes.....theu understand how vital MT was to the band's success and resent Ronnie's lack of ability to play lead guitar... |

My two year old loves to dance to 60's Stones. He even figured out how to work my CD player. His favourite songs are '19th Nervous Breakdown' and 'Get Off My Cloud'
Thank God he didn't inherit his mother's U2-fan-gene. |

As long as your son doesn't think the CDs are mini-frisbees, then everything's okay. |

That's the wierd thing... He actually places the CDs carefully into the CD player. WTF? |
