DG81 Does anyone know where I can find pics of Keith inducting Guitarist James Burton into the R N R Hall Of Fame??? I think this took place in 2001.

I've always admired Burton's playing as, obviously, Keith does. Any picture posts or web-links would be much appreciated

Dan.

scratched Yeah I love James Burton's playing too. Got into him through listening to Gram Parsons' two solo albums and then his Elvis stuff. Very tasteful with a very individual style - a guitar player's guitar player!

Can't help you with the footage though, sorry.

There's another one in the Victor Bokris Keefy book.

DG81 Great to see two of my favourites on stage together. I'd love to track down some audio or video from this event. Does any exist???

MidnightRambler YES JAMES BURTON!!

WOO HOO!!

He is the reason why I picked up the guitar. There are two men that gave me the kick in the ass to play the guitar: James and our Keith.

I was very fortunate to meet James in Memphis during Elvis week two summers ago. It was a thrill and goes down as one of the best moments for me. He gave a guitar pick (!!)

Here's a FANTASTIC link that is well kept and very updated. Great James site!!
