glencar Arafat is a great leader.
11-04-03 02:39 PM
jb It will only stop when and if SDH comes home. Arafat needs a good shave.
11-04-03 02:45 PM
glencar He needs to lose that kaffiyah too but that's not happening either.

Steelie ain't coming home jb.

Do you mean Arafat needs a shave like a "close" shave from an F-16 with a 2000 Mk82 bomb or a shave like an actual shave and a bath. He really needs a bath. And I would imagine some Altoids. And Speedstick.

Have The Stones ever played Israel?

11-04-03 02:50 PM
glencar They played in 1995. No security LOL.
11-04-03 02:51 PM
jb No Tele...but Mick probably has not seen catwoman's daughters.
11-04-03 02:52 PM
glencar Joshy, wasn't that cool how I stopped that bitch from going on & on about you this morning? LOL I think she thought everybody would hop on her bandwagon. Too bad, toots!
11-04-03 02:55 PM
jb Yes....thank you....There are some there that have no concept of humour ...If you dare critcise the Stones, they circle you like sharks ...
11-04-03 02:56 PM
glencar You should have seen the PM I sent SJ's way. She won't face me if we ever meet! LOL
11-04-03 02:58 PM
jb What really happened b/t you 2?
11-04-03 03:02 PM
glencar She trolled on that fires thread. I sent her a nasty PM & she said she'd tell the host about it. Then I let it loose. She replied that she wasn't such a bad person. Really, I should like her & worship at her knees. I dropped it then. Some are clueless.

Sir Stonesalot jb and all:

A couple of things, there is a difference between being a republican, and an asshole republinazi. I have many friends who are republicans. In fact, I even voted for some republicans today. I have no probelm with people who decide to affliate with the republican party. Where I run into problems are with the people who try to cram republicanism down everyone's throats. You know, the "If you ain't republican, you ain't shit" type people. We seem to have an abundance of those types here. I choose not to interact with them. It's that simple. I do not interact with people like that in my daily life, and I see no reason to interact with them here.

No one is intimidating me anywhere. I'll still be here. Just look for me on the threads about music, movies, stuff like that. I'm just gonna skip over the political stuff. I see no point in wasting server space in a political debate. I'm not interested in that.

In fact, I'm much too cool for it.

11-04-03 03:37 PM
jb Glad to hear it SS!!

nankerphelge When did anyone here of a conservative bent ever shove anything down anyone's throats?

Seems to me we have strong opinions on both sides, and opinionated people to make their arguments. I don't see how either side is forcing their opinions on anyone else. Seems to me you just find it easier to lable your opponents Nazis.

I guess I know where we stand.

Joey How To Catch, Clean, and Stuff A Trout :

Put a large bluz worm on a hook toss it in the lake and sure enough a trout will bite.
Take the trout and give her a good wack on the head with a cedar plank making sure that the trout is dead, do it again if needs be.
Take your fishing knife and slit the belly of the trout from mouth to asshole, scoop out all the guts, check inside; if there's a small black lump throw the trout away cause the soul is bad, be sure to save the worm though cause a bluz worm will always catch a trout.

Fiji Joe Ah SS I can identify with your "republinazi" analogy...it's the same heebie jeebies I get when left wing bleeding hearts use passive aggressive methods to paint anyone who reacts to an asinine comment made by said left wing bleeding hearts as a nazi who is trying to stuff their ideology down their throat...It's the same heebie jeebies I get when someone swears they are so put off by a comment that they will not comment but then proceeds to comment...profusely

glencar I post on another board that has one political/current events thread. I'm the only GOPer there. Those Dimonazis can't believe that someone would actually support Dubya. I've actually posted less frequently there because I'd go nuts otherwise.

Ten Thousand Motels - I don't "protect them Democrats" (I think that's how you put it), in fact if I voted my conscience I'd be a Libertarian, but in this political climate that equals a vote for Bush, and I'd rather eat razor blades. The Democrats are the only ones who can unseat Bush, and imo that HAS to be done. Sadly, though, I don't think ANYONE can undo the damage that dimwit has done, but at least I'll have a clear conscience - like the majority of Americans, I didn't vote for him.

It's unfortunatly true that the dems are the only ones who can unseat Bush. That's the pickle. Dammed if you do Dammed if you don't. My aunt is a big Bushie, but as I told her many times Bush is NO conservative...the "no beaurocrat (child) left behind act" should be proof of that.

prism Bill O'Reilly pretends to be more right wing than he is, probably because he goes where the money is (Rupert Murdoch's propaganda machine). Sometimes Bill lets his true feelings slip out. Bill said yesterday that he thinks marijuana should be legalized. After a segment on the evils of pornography he asked Jenna Jameson to send him a few of her porn videos (according to Jenna). He even let it slip that he thinks Jesus was not a historical figure, much to the horror of the Christian Coalition representative he was interviewing.
11-06-03 10:55 AM
glencar Well, I'm not sure how airing it on his show means he's "pretending" to not hold those views. It sounds like he's somewhat libertarian.
11-06-03 11:02 AM
nankerphelge I watched him last night. He was debating the ACLU's agenda with a former ACLU leader and civil rights attorney, and there was relatively little shouting and no telling anyone to shut up. There was some spirited discussion, but all-in-all both sides made their points.

I agree that he is somewhat Libertarian in his beliefs -- that is why many think he is right-wing. Never heard him say that pot should be legal -- but I have heard him say that the gov't has better things to do than bust people in their own homes for smoking! Couldn't agree more.

11-06-03 11:05 AM
glencar I've heard him say it before, nanker. But it's always easier for some to say he barks than to actually listen. He does get "overexcited" once in a while but I've watched him more this week than usual & he's usually quite calm. The one who disappoints me is John Kasich who fills in on some weekend shows. Weird delivery.

telecaster After all the excitement, Earle was on O'Reilly last night. Not sure why as the only thing he had to say is the government should control the media. No shouting or interupting and Earle looked lost.

Earles brain is fried from drugs as he really had nothing to say

Not sure what the point of his appearence was

nankerphelge The government should control the media?

Really?

That's Steve's take on things!

Maybe he should write a song about how fucking stupid some songwriters named Steve are...
