moy Parker Bowles credit card
delayed
Tom Parker Bowles company
Quintessentially has been forced to
drop plans to launch its credit card
in time to cash in on the Christmas
market. The company, founded by
Parker Bowles's cousin and beau
of Jade Jagger, Ben Elliot, had
hoped that its much-vaunted Q
card would rival American
Express's top-of-the-range
Centurion card. Unfortunately for
Quintessentially's members, the launch of the card has been
put back until the new year. Some have suggested that the
delay is due to too few people signing up for the card; 1,500
names are necessary to launch a new credit card. Co-founder
Aaron Simpson denied that this was the case, insisting that
the company has 'over 2,000' members.
