Lazy Bones Look for "forums available" at the top (Dylan and non-Dylan related). You'll need to register.

If you've got time, sort through Bill's links page.

nankerphelge FG:

On that legal question, I'm not sure exactly what you were looking for, but you might want to check with Virginia's Secretary of the Commonwealth -- a federally chartered bank likely has to register to do business in VA, and often they will list in their corporate documents who their agent is -- often it is the Secretary. If it isn't, they should be able to get the proper filings and tell you who is.

Factory Girl Thanks, Nanky. I did call that office, but b/c the entity is a federal bank (or so they tell me), the bank is not required to register with the state of VA. I was told to call Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS), b/c they regulate this bank. However, OTS has not been responsive.

So, I'm going to use the bank's principal business address & the chief operating officer.

nankerphelge That's surprising -- fed. banks don't have to register in the state!

And they told you OTS? I wouldn't think they'd be the ones to call, but maybe.

See if the bank has an annual statement -- I bet there would be info in there!

Factory Girl Where do I find the annual statement of bank?

OTS has not been helpful.

nankerphelge Good question. If it is federally chartered, you might check the Treasury Dept
