Four seperate penalties on one play. A second coming of Abe Lincoln could not help overcome this.

sirmoonie Rumblings asterixes (skeechies *****s) next to the Pat's Supe wins. I knew there was no way they could beat the Steelers like real men. Chicanery. Malum in se. Malum prohibitum. Fall from grace. Cast out like the Angel Moroni. Wouldn't bet a re-used Mack Herron needle on their chances this year.

Ed Bouchette is very knowledgeable when it comes to inside information on the NFL. I did not think much of this story until I read his comments. He will be on a local TV talk show in about an hour. I will be tuned in.

Moonie, this explains a lot. After the 15-1 season when Ben looked like gold, and then those picks during the AFC championship on relatively safe passes. Its all so clear now.

They also planted dead dogs on Vick's property.

I know. I've been saying it for years now. But my motives were questioned. My integrity was impugned!

Justice delayed is justice denied!

Belichick statement
By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff
Bill Belichick released the following statement today:

"Earlier this week, I spoke with Commissioner Goodell about a videotaping procedure during last Sunday's game and my interpretation of the rules. At this point, we have not been notified of the league's ruling. Although it remains a league matter, I want to apologize to everyone who has been affected, most of all ownership, staff and players. Following the league’s decision, I will have further comment."

Some questions from the presser....

When you spoke with Roger Goodell, did he give you an indication of when the decision would be made?
"I don't have anything to add. I said all I can say about it for right now. When something comes in, I'll have another comment on it. Until then, that's it."

Are you making any contingency plans should you be suspended and unable to coach the game on Sunday?
"I don't have anything else to add. I've said all I can say right now."

And this one, in classic Coach B style....

Are you embarassed by it?
"Are there any questions about the Chargers. Do you want to talk about the football game? That statement pretty much covers it."

Sad...but apparently true...I mean come on...Tom Brady was nothing until he got to the Pats...dude didn't even start on his crappy college team...I predict he will go straight in the tank...and that videotape will surface of Randy Moss pooping his pants...during the game

Nellcote Yeah, right.
Go down to Arrowhead and talk to the best player you got, one Ty Law, about Tom Brady.
Get back to me when he brings you back to earth.

Sorry...judgment has been passed...Pats owe everything to cheating...shame...shame on them

Nellcote Right, penalty should be to give back three Super Bowls in four years, just whack the crap out of 'em!
Use of video, polaroid cameras, never, ever have been used until last Sunday.
31 other coaches will thank Coach B for being the sacrificial lamb.
Next question, please.

There is no telling what else they've done...Teams are going to have to start hiring testers to sample the gatorade before giving it to their players...tiger balm in the jock strap...you can't tell me Brady wouldn't mind lubeing up a few jock straps

jb I said the Patriots cheated a few years ago..it is their nature just like the snow plough guy who cheated to allow them to beat us so many years ago ....they have never had the class of teams like the Dolphins, Steelers or other champions.. ..and we still have a better all time winning % despite 5 years of ineptitude.

sirmoonie Estrella is Italian, fueling confirmed rumors that organized crime has ties to the Patriots and was involved in their subterfuge. This is venal.

Nellcote Nostradamus from S. Florida has made his re-appearance.
Great to see you JB.
How is Cam Cameron working out for you?
Oh, and btw, yo buddy Shula said Sunday night "shame on the Jets for not changing the signals after they found the camera"....
Pats will get fined, or lose draft picks, or, Coach B gets a few games off, or some of the above.
Remember, without Bob Kraft, Pats owner, none of the bottom feeder teams, well represented by several of the posters here, would have a sniff of TV revenue for any new stadiums, or players, as Bob Kraft chairs the tv committee, the biggest cash cow of the NFL. You better thank your fellow tribesman, JB. All these bottom feeder teams get the cash, the owners pocket it, don't use it for improvements, then whine & bitch when an issue like this comes up. See you in Tempe on 03 February, while you are all couching with gucamole & Tostitos!

sirmoonie I noticed the Dirty Liberal Media (DiLiMed) is trying to softplay and bury the story. Where is the veracity? What about the lessons impinged upon our youths? We need some stand-up guys to stand up and denounce this for what it is - a full frontal with multiple shots on goal.

Nellcote Oh, and by the way, if any of you think that stealing signs with/without video is going to end, I've got a bridge to sell you. Each team will pay the $250 for a ticket, to place a spy in the stands this weekend, to film signals, radio signals, take polaroid photos, radio signals to their team to use. Incidentally, when Mangenius worked for the Patriots, and he took the job @ the J E T S, he was escorted immediately out of the building, so he would not take any secrets with him. The money in this is so big, that every coach in the league does this same thing. Belichik either flaunted the system stupidly, or did what he's done all along.

Just think of this sign stealing thing when you are watching your kids Pop Warner football, or baseball..will there be plants in the stands with camcorders? Bet yo bottom dollar there will. After all, you want your Johnny to have the edge over everyone else, right?

J-Biff, word on the street is that Porter is NOT happy in Miami. No one on the Dolphins can guzzle red wine like the Steelers circa 2005, so he finds himself alone much of the day, and into the evening. He is black.

Some Guy Bloke comes home from the bar drunk at 4am in the morning. His wife is sleeping and he tries to sneak into bed. He's laying in bed for a few minutes and lets rip a fart. His wife wakes up and asks, "What in the world was that?"

He replies, "Touchdown, I'm up 7 nothing."

She thinks to herself, "I'm gonna fix him." Then she lets one loose.

He yells at her, "What was that?"

She replies "Touchdown, tie score."

Now he thinks, "I'm gonna fix her." He's laying there for about 10 minutes trying to work one up. He tries so hard he craps in bed.

The wife asks, "Now what in the world was that?"

He replied, "Half time, switch sides."

sirmoonie Just in!!!! Breaking from Drudge!

Goodell's punishment - Pats must revert to old logo for rest of season.

Nellcote Long Live Pat Patriot!
I have seat cushions from '76 with Pat from the old stadium.
Jizzy must be loving this, he cannot stand the Pats since the Snow Bowl, or even b-4....

Edited by John "Dennis the Menace" Gruden

Hey Moonie, BTW, didn't the Stillers get a 1st round draft pick taken away for running a whole training camp with players in full pads, wtf???
I love day games in Pittsburgh, great for beating the stuffing out of a once great team, right Kordell Stewart?

Nellcote Hey Moonie, I'm having 2001 AFC Playoff flashbacks...

Remember when all of the Stillers fans bought high rent packages to Nawlins for Soup Bowl 36? They rammed it down the Pats throats who went to the AFC game in Pitt. Even when I went to Nawlins for the Soup Bowl, I ran into more Stillers fans who had non refundable packages, crying, drowning in their beer. It was wicked pissah to party with them, they were pushovers, and they drank like fish because they wanted to ease the pain....
