On a more serious note, send some good juju to Kevin Everett of the Bills.
Initial reports from the docs say his spinal cord injury is "catastrophic" and life-threatening, and he'll likely be permanently paralyzed.

Tragic injury. Its put everything in perspective. Trufully, I was not impressed by The Stiller win. Don't tell Moonie.

Throwaway Please Mr Commish do not allow these refs to ever set foot in a stadium again.

sweetcharmedlife That call at the end of the Raven's game was horrible. Teh only thing worse was the play calling by Brian Billick after the makeup call.

sirmoonie Jamaican Asafa Powell lowered his world record time in the 100 meters to 9.74 last week.

That is insane. At least I think its insane.

LadyJane Yeah..please send good thoughts to the Bills' Kevin Everett.

Docs say it's unlikely he'll ever walk again.
Currently on a ventilator and in a drug induced semi-coma.

A real tragedy.

sirmoonie WTF w/ dem Patriots? Playing the jack of the bottom of the deck. Greasing the rails. Dodging the launch pattern.

A burgeoning credibility crisis in Foxboro. Shades of Jackson at Shiloh.

Not so sure. Where there's smoke, there's bongs. We need to keep close watch on them - remember Massachusetts is the most corrupt state in North America. If we see even a hint of malfeasance, someone is going to pay.

Nellcote No worries here.
Everyone wants to be the Pats.
Every player wants to play for the Pats.
Just play the damn tape, let the truth speak for itself.
Why would a team conciously do it when the defensive coach has at least three different people on the field to send signals to? Who can know which play is going to be used, if two of those people (dead man & second dead man) are phony anyway? No tape is going to be read until after the game, when it's of no use anyway?

Of course, there are signals on the tape. Mixed in with shots of cheerleaders. If they are guilty, they should be penalized for it. Take a draft pick, or penalize them more. If they are guilty, it was a stupid move. If they are not, then the NFL should quickly state what happened, who asked for the camera to be taken.

I don't think the camera had anything to do with Tom Brady & Randy Moss hooking up pretty successfully on Sunday. Maybe Mangenius needs a tune up? Maybe it was Mangenious who asked for the camera thing?

Ask yourself, why do pitchers cover their mouths when they talk with catchers while conferencing on the mound? Because the other teams can lip read, whether with the naked eye or guess what, probably with secret video.

Ask yourself, why did the J E T S have two ex Patriots in last week? Tryouts for positions? I do not think so.
As well, why did the Pats have two ex J E T S in last week?
Same thing, to gain a competitive advantage.

Funny, Red Sox manager gets a uniform inspection during the middle of an inning, with Jeter on 2nd by Major League Baseball, now, a camera is confiscated from a sideline employee by the NFL. Both while in separate NY stadiums.

Who is kidding who here?

Ladainian Tomlison complained?
He of being caught red handed with steriods?
Loser.

gimmekeef I think its a laugh...if other teams were smart enough they'd do it too...heres the Boston Herald on a game last year:

For a window into the Patriots' tactics, multiple Packers sources provided a fascinating account of what happened in the 35-0 victory last Nov. 19. A man identifying himself as a Patriots employee asked a security guard if he could shoot footage of Lambeau Field before the game, and permission was granted. Just before the game, he requested to stay on the sidelines to record quarterback Tom Brady for the coaching staff. However, he was soon spotted filming the Packers defense and signaling Patriots coaches. A member of the Packers security staff witnessed the exchange and asked him to leave. He retreated to the tunnel, continued filming, and appeared to be communicating with the coaches via hand signals before being escorted off the field. Asked why the Patriots weren't reported, a Packers executive suggested there was a code of silence regarding such matters, particularly after a blowout. "It bothers you that it's cheating," he said, "but it's not the reason they kicked our (butt)." It's interesting to note a pair of comments after that game. The first came from Packers corner Al Harris, who praised the Patriots coaching staff. "It's almost like they knew what we were doing, you know?" he said. "You have to tip your hat to them. They ran plays designed for us. They ran plays that made us check out of some things. I don't know who calls their plays, but Belichick is pretty good. Honestly, he's pretty good." -- Boston Herald

Patriots just issued a presser, that Coach B is not traveling to NY anytime soon.

Nellcote The guy on the left in that photo Bucky posted is a professional landscaper when he's not decking people in the NFL. The guy on the right had a stroke several weeks after that photo was taken. He is now in his 2nd year playing the same position again. I repeat, he had a stroke.

Actually Browns will be okay..only one game...you did make some nice catches and Steelers remain vulnerable to tight ends moving into the seems....Slow corners always bite...then get burned on teh out patterns..good QB's will roast em
