M.O.W.A.T. In 1985, when the Stones were recording Dirty Work (insert joke here), Duran Duran were also recording at Pathe Marconi. They looked in on the Stones sessions and were amazed that they recorded as an ensemble. Supposedly, both bands are said to have jammed together (whether or not any boots are available is not known).

Mr Hess Charlie Watts is an American Civil War buff, and during every US Tour he visits CW battlefields and buys memorabilia. There is a pic of him taken in the 60's with some of the stuff in his collection, but I don't know how to post it.

glencar Urban Jungle was going to be the title of one of the 80's albums but it did see the light of day as the name of the 1990 Eurotour.

jb I am waiting till after work as the line this morning was huge at the South County Civic Center in Delray Beach, Fl. I think millions from the Christian right are showing up ensuring a huge Bush landslide,

LOL....in all candor Gazza, I shall vote for Kerry, but it looks like Bush fairly easily from what I see...
November 2nd, 2004 10:49 AM
Gazza well..regardless..despite both their shortcomings, you should vote - even if its to keep out the guy you DONT like (which I think seems to be the motive for most people I know)

you cant really bitch about the outcome if it doesnt go your way and you didnt vote. Especially in a close state.

Florida is pretty much wrapped up for Bush...His brother controls the election and many minorities are being challenged when they go to the polls..it is very disturbing to see Jim Crowe like tactics in the 21st century, but they (republicans) will hold on to power at any price.

glencar Joshy, enough with the voter suppression act. If the Dems didn't have that old canard, they'd have nada. The reality is that across the nation there will be several thousand invalid ballots tabulated because Dems don't follow the rules. They're too fucking studid.
November 2nd, 2004 12:56 PM
kath josh, the lines will be long after work, too. and the reason dubyah and jeb managed florida so easily is because people sat back on the hineys and didn't vote last time. get your rich jewish ass out there and vote goddammit. don't let the bush boys get it so easily this time....maybe don't let them have it at all....at least VOTE!

hell, i hadn't voted for years because i never thought it mattered...but this year it matters more than ever!!
