Saint Sway the thing is that despite my "Flashpoint 2004" comment, I do like it.

I didnt mean this thread to be a dig at Licks. Its just thats it reminds me a lot of Flashpoint - in that its more of a hits collection and less a reflectioin on the tour.

I thought they hit the bullseye on conveying that with the Four Flicks though

performances are good though.

lucasd4 I'm shocked that someone with the good sense and taste to appreciate DIRTY WORK wouldn't love LIVE LICKS. Especially since the guitars sound the raunchiest they have since DW.

69 Chevy I got the UK version for $12.99. It was marked incorrectlty, but store policy was to sell it for what the sticker read. The clerk looked at me and said "Good find". I probably would not have purchased it otherwise.

Poplar After all the shit we've collectively talked about this album (including your truly), i bought it today. After zipping through the first disk while sitting in the Sacramento traffic, i've decided it ain't that bad. Several people have mentioned the good sound. This is, in fact, the case. Mick soudns really good too, as does Mr. Jones.

I do feel a bit weird about having boght it, but what the fuck? It's the Stones. Hell, it's exactly what i would have expected from a Licks live album.

One last note: It's Only Rock n' Roll cooks pretty good.

ps - i got mine for a cool $15. not bad.
