Hi,
I have 3 different Stones DVD's of the 1981 tourfilm Time Is On Our SIde.
1. TIOS the one evryone saw in the theaters
2. LEt's Spent The Night Together Identical to Time but has some additional vintage footage mixed in during TIOS
3. Rocks Off...differently edited (BETTER) and has When The Whip Comes Down on it.
CAn anyone help me what's the story on this?!?! Why were there 3 versions of the film, where were they released!?!?

"Rocks Off" was premiered in germany in august 1982 and Scandinavia and Holland in october
"Time is on my side" was premiered in Italy in October 1982
"lets spend the night together" came out in the US in January 1983. This was the version/title used pretty much worldwide including I presume most of Europe. It was certainly called that in the UK and in Ireland. I saw it in Dublin in April 1983.

I saw that movie in a theater in -83 (I think) in Finland. It was called LSTNT. Never seen or heard that Rocks Off version 'round here. |
