Regarding Limp Biz-kit's version of "BBE"...
It hurts. Trust me. It *really* hurts. The only part they concentrate on is the acoustic part (which means they exclude the climactic electric explosion), they turn it into a directionless dirge, and worst of all, Durst tries to add some words of his own to it.

What a coincidence. I heard this dirge on the car radio last night. I nearly ripped out the radio is disgust. I ranted to my step-son for nearly 10 minutes on how disgusting it is. I didnt know it was limp biscuit. What a limp version. One good thing is, i dont think we'll hear from them again. Their current album has all but bombed. Maybe all this nu-metal shit is finally dead. God, it is so bad!! I just hope a few 16 year old dickwads who idolise this band, and think this tune is prophetic for all their teen angst, some how have a older brother or hell, even a father, who plays them the original. Then that teen punk should have his head re-adjusted by that great WHO song, and realise how pathetic this version is. Oh, and i didnt mind WASPS THE REAL ME. Mainly, as it was a virtual duplicate of the original. I gotta agree that Motley Crue were just soooo bad. Smoking in the boy room? What jailhouse rock on GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS????? |
